2019
The story of FleetPulse starts with a legacy. Since 1900, Great Dane has pioneered trailer innovation. In 2017, recognizing the growing need for data-driven fleet decisions, Great Dane launched FleetPulse as a built-in smart trailer system. With non-proprietary sensors and OEM-level insights, FleetPulse began turning “black box” trailers into transparent, intelligent assets.
2024
Independant Tech Startup
In 2024, FleetPulse took a major leap forward by becoming an independent company. Backed by $11 million in seed funding and led by CEO Carl-Christopher Reckers, FleetPulse expanded its reach to connect thousands of trailers across North America. This milestone marked the beginning of a bold new chapter—scaling up and transforming how fleets operate.
